I have been listening to this mix since I found it on YouTube some 5 or more years ago. The songs always have the same effect on me: I feel happy and at the same melancholic, I feel like crying, I feel abandoned in a deserted land, forgotten, no friends around, no family, no one to talk to...yet , my body is still swaying to the sounds of the darbouka and other percussions used...I am Walking on a camel alone to and from Agadir...I cannot find my way...
Then comes Amr Diab, singing "Osad Ainy"...I feel his pain, he is not even there physically...all I am seeing is his hologram singing the lost of his love...Although that makes me sad, I feel relaxed listening to this songs. I often put this mix on when I am working late (like now), planning lessons for my students, marking books or just reading.
