I really want to see Rae do this but with an actual tattoo artist helping her and having good equipment

It's really nice hearing someone who knows nothing about tattooing used the correct terminology Thank you

a little tip: the ink can be removed more easily off the fake skin with any type of oil

Video idea: a Collab with a tattoo artist teaching you to tattoo in their studio. It would be fun, educational and you wouldn't even have to buy expensive equipment

Even though you were frustrated you did make a cool piece of art. It came out great. I thought it was going to be worse the way you were talking about it.

Hi Rae! 4 years into tattooing here! Is there a chance you set the power supply to a very high voltage? That would explain overheating and the sparking! The little lightnings can be very scary but they usually are such a low power that you could barely feel them :) loved your video and related to it sooo much! X

to clean the fake skin, vaseline and greensopewater, usually works :) The sparks are actually pretty common, even on quality machines. but luckily the other machines like rotary and pens don't have that problem. And for being a first time, looks pretty good.

As a tattoo apprentice when you said “they probably spend more than $50” yeah… I just spent $450 just on different sizes of needles 😭 worth it tho

I feel like these machines you can get for cheap would be really good for leatherwork, like putting designs onto the hide.

Stubbing your toe is way more painful than a tattoo. I’m covered in tattoos but kicking a door will bring me to tears 😂

I didn't realise tattooing was so hard of a medium to use. Dang. Respect to all those tattoo artists who do this for a living.

Interesting that there are far fewer tattoo pros in your comments than in Jackie's complaining about your technique or the fact that this puts ideas in people's heads. I'm going to go with that means your audience is more chill and actually understands this is just for fun and you're not planning to put that cheap machine on anybody's live skin.

As someone who has more than 20 tattoos, this kind of video really excites me. Also, I know this is about the whole kit, but since the fake skin is terrible you can use some fruit (like orange and melon) to train too

As a practicing tattoo artist thank you for being safe and sanitary when trying this

I’m only 16 but I’ve wanted a tattoo since I was 9 or 10, but being raised in a very conservative household my whole family hates the idea, ever since I was 11 I’ve been drawing designs for my future tattoos, and last year me and my mom made a deal that I could get one for my 18th birthday!

I appreciate how in depth you go into your disclaimer. I love your channel, you are just a beautiful soul! (She's right kids, a lot of states also have pretty serious laws regarding tattoo artists/licensing/sanitizing equipment.)

Omg this looks amazing for a first attempt!! I think I’ve seen people practicing on fruit ?? That might be an easier canvas and a cool video idea 💗
