It's amazing how an animal can change your life. 5 years ago I was working a corporate job. I rehabilitated an injured opossum that walked into my house, started doing wildlife rehabbing, and now I'm a first-year vet student. 🐾

What makes this even more heart wrenching is the fact that, once they pop out of their sleeping bags, they have about a week to live.. they don't eat, they don't drink, they literally don't even have a mouth. Their one and only purpose in life is to mate.. so the fact that these little hungry noodles turned flying floofs got to experience such genuine warmth and kindness for such fleeting lives.. this was truly a touching video to me.
