my dad was a biker, he was also a pretty bad alcoholic.

my dad died at 51 in November. 2 heart attacks and he had no DNR, so they called me from states away to basically get consent to end his life.
My mom got his wallet for me (she lives in that same state) and mailed it to me. i opened a cardboard box with a leather chain wallet and a watch, that was my funeral. i played another spoke in the wheel and this one came on after.

Lost my husband August of 2021 to Covid. Married 35 years, together a total of 40 years. I was so lost and devastated...he was gone in the blink of an eye. He was a guitarist, singer and I sing and play piano. Traveled for years all over playing and singing. Hi Zakk, i know you'll probably never see this , but i would like to thank you and tell you that your music saved my life. I have to admit I never heard of you or any of your music. I lost my 23 year old son in 2009 to oxy overdose and while I am working out at the gym I listen to his IPOD for some kind of strength. He had your song "In This River" I lost it at the gym, so came home and started researching you. and came across this song. Your words say it all...God Bless You...thank you... a mom with a broken heart
