Very interesting! I would like to add that, for me, is not just the brain (per se) that affect our experience of reality. I think that's a lot more in the bag that build how our brain will process the things around us.

I honestly do not know if we are 'ALL living in a hallucination'... but there is no question or doubt in my mind that there are a LOT of people all over the world who are living in 'cloud cuckoo land!!!' R 😎

Knowledge would be the consensus, then we use towards democracy. While it might be plausible we all have a diverse perspective, WE ARE GIVEN the sets if standards via our one and only universe. The one and only thing that matters then is the culmination of meaning behind our muilti-hinged exchanges. It is meaningless to hea in a direction of pure belief, if even low hanging fruit; anecdotal. The mind is limitless and to let a belief system counter that is absolutely illogical

Vedic sages in 1,500 bc to thier disciples : You are neither the body nor the mind, neither the intellect nor the ego(the basic thought, "I" thought), You are "consciousness bliss"(Chit ananada), that is the source of mind and intellect, that is you. Don't identify yourself with mind, intellect or thoughts. Relize the true self. Self realization is the only way to outcome of all the mind illusions. Ramana Maharshi, 19th century sage is the one who realised that absolute conciousness bliss. Read about him to know more about mind.

Post-pub philosophy with an intrusive soundtrack and too many graphics. No doubt others will not share my reality. 🤔
