The Sade influence is so beautiful. Bassline reminds me of No Ordinary Love. Plus Sades trademark sensual sax floating in the background. Lyrically reminds me of Is It a Crime and Fear. I wonder if this song alludes to Fear because Sades lyrics, “Blue is the color of the red sky” would make sense within the context of Kalis album considering the title, “Red Moon in Venus” however I could just be reaching lol.
The wonderful thing about this song is that it maintains Kalis identity while wonderfully paying homage to an R&B legend.
