Saw her perform this live in concert; she prefaced this song with a speech about how you shouldn't let others' opinions and judgments about you affect how you feel about yourself - the only people's opinions that matter are those who truly love and care about you. I still remember the sincerity of her words, and as she sang this beautiful song while being transported around the stadium in a forklift contraption, you can see her trying to make eye contact with as many people in the audience as possible, even those in the nosebleed seats. She truly is a performer in a class of her own. I feel the success and acclaim that she has earned is well deserved.

This song means the world to me. Hearing it while actually being 3 years clean is so incredible. This song helped me at my lowest low. I'm so glad I can hear it now that I'm out of the woods, if you will. This song will always have such a special place in my heart
