He said exactly what I've been saying for a long time. If it's worth doing today, it's worth doing everyday but if it's not, don't do it. Cheating and falsity are not evolutionarily stable strategies. Sure, a trickster might take advantage of a naive, honest actor in the short term, but they won't achieve true advantage in the long term and they actually lose advantage relative to their hypothetical counterpart who was honest.
