i feel like these vlogs give a really unrealistic picture of study abroad. for those watching: this is not normal. this is what study abroad is like if you're rich and don't take classes seriously. when i studied abroad, it was the same as studying at home...just in a different country. i wasn't going to fancy restaurants all the time or shopping and going out for drinks this often. i just don't want people to feel bad about their study abroad if it was more lowkey and also more academic than this.
