I bought an Epiphone Texan back in 1964 for 130 quid, brand new of course, then sold it on in 1967 on a PX deal. Oh dear did i regret it years later. Then in 2010 i found the Paul McCartney hand made limited edition 230/250 personally signed on the label by Paul. It is an exact replica of Pauls Texan even down to lacquer cracks on the headstock. It sounds fabulous. All this for 5 grand, worth every penny. Very happy now.

It's stunning how much of The Beatles was Paul McCartney. In this concert and others you can easily imagine that you're hearing the four of them up there again. Beginning with the White Album it's also true that Lennon and Harrison held the spotlight on their compositions, so it's fun to create Humpty Dumpty playlists and put The Beatles back together again, for a few more years anyway. For example selections from McCartney, John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band, All Things Must Pass, and the singles would cover 1970. From Ram, Imagine, Bangladesh, and Ringo you could do 1971.

Watching in 2023. AMAZING SHOW! The love Sir Paul has for music; John, George and Ringo; Liverpool and sharing his passion for playing with the world is such a gift! Blessed to live in the age of The Beatles.
