Long Live the Fighters. #DunePartTwo only in cinemas November 2.

The saga continues as award-winning filmmaker Denis Villeneuve embarks on “Dune: Part Two,” the next chapter of Frank Herbert’s celebrated novel Dune, with an expanded all-star international ensemble cast. The film, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, is the highly anticipated follow-up to 2021’s six-time Academy Award-winning “Dune.”
The big-screen epic continues the adaptation of Frank Herbert’s acclaimed bestseller Dune with returning and new stars, including Oscar nominee Timothée Chalamet (“Wonka,” “Call Me by Your Name”), Zendaya (“Spider-Man: No Way Home,” “Malcolm & Marie,” “Euphoria”), Rebecca Ferguson (“Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning”), Oscar nominee Josh Brolin (“Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery,” “Army of the Dead”), Oscar nominee Austin Butler (“Elvis,” “Once Upon A Time…In Hollywood”), Oscar nominee Florence Pugh (“Black Widow,” “Little Women”), Dave Bautista (the “Guardians of the Galaxy” films, “Thor: Love and Thunder”), Oscar winner Christopher Walken (“The Deer Hunter,” “Hairspray”), Stephen McKinley Henderson (“Fences,” “Lady Bird”), Léa Seydoux (the “James Bond” franchise and “Crimes of the Future”), with Stellan Skarsgård (the “Mamma Mia!” films, “Avengers: Age of Ultron”), with Oscar nominee Charlotte Rampling (“45 Years,” “Assassin’s Creed”), and Oscar winner Javier Bardem (“No Country for Old Men,” “Being the Ricardos”).
“Dune: Part Two” will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.
Villeneuve directed from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jon Spaihts based on Herbert’s novel. The film is produced by Mary Parent, Cale Boyter, Patrick McCormick, Villeneuve and Tanya Lapointe. The executive producers are Josh Grode, Herbert W. Gains, Jon Spaihts, Thomas Tull, Brian Herbert, Byron Merritt, Kim Herbert, with Kevin J. Anderson serving as creative consultant.
Villeneuve is again collaborating with his “Dune” creatives: Oscar-winning director of photography
Greig Fraser; Oscar-winning production designer Patrice Vermette; Oscar-winning editor Joe Walker; Oscar-winning visual effects supervisor Paul Lambert; Oscar-nominated costume designer Jacqueline West. Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer is again on hand to create the score.
“Dune: Part Two” was filmed on location in Budapest, Abu Dhabi, Jordan and Italy. The film is slated for a November 3, 2023 worldwide release from Warner Bros. Pictures

If I remember correctly, the sandworm Paul summoned during his trial was one of the largest ever recorded, with almost half mile in length.

"May thy knife chip & shatter." That fight between the 2 of those boys at the end of the film will be epic!!! I wish it was November now.

Villeneuve's cinematic realisation of Paul's first worm ride is beyond what I had imagined was possible on screen! Very impressive and very exciting.

The respect that Mr Villeneuve has for cinema is so evident through every single frame. In an era of 30 seconds video bites, pieces of work like this remind me of the magic of filmmaking.  Long live the art!

I remember reading the first Dune when I was in college and it's one of the books where you know that the author is taking you somewhere and then I turned a page and the whole story clicked for me. What an epic....

The first time I saw Dune it didn’t really stick with me long. But I went and watched it in IMAX during the rerelease last week and this time it clicked for me. I’m so pumped to see the second part! We’re in for something special here.

"Long Live The Fighters!" Can't help but think of Kyle MacLachlan yelling it out in the original commercial for the movie in the 80's

Looking forward to this film not only because I am curious to see Villenueve's vision for the second half of the book but also because I cant wait to hear what Hans Zimmer has in store for us.

Part one was a tremendous work of art. I'm not even a fan of Dune, but I loved every bit of the cinematography. It was very realistically done and I can't wait to see part two.

The first movie was like fine chocolate that lasted 2 + 1/2 hours that coated your soul with joy yet it felt like it wasn't long enough. That's before we've seen the real crazy stuff, just an introduction to the saga. Sci-fi fans are getting spoiled with this amazing piece of art. I hope anyone who is interested to see the new Dune movies through the end can live long enough. So many of us have been waiting for this.

When he said "may thy knife chip and shatter" and put the knife to his forehead with his eyes blue... OMG I felt it in my veins.

This is the series that I am currently ALL IN on right now! Ive been raised up and I am versed in this genre and the truth is that NOTHING in cinema has this scale, depth of lore with execution this polished. The acting is Top Notch. The score, and sound absolutely on point. This is the new benchmark for 21st century film making. I am ALL IN on this one. 100 / 100
