Portmeirion is... well, it's nowhere. Essentially, it was an architectural experiment by your typical classic British eccentric, who thought it would be just super to have an Italianate village by the sea in North Wales, because of course.

Jolly good thing that it turned out to be spectacular and ace, eh?

And, as you may know, it made for the perfect set for the gloriously weird 60s TV series, The Prisoner (which if you haven't seen... oooh, you're in for a baffling treat). Obviously, it would be too much to make this video too... Prisonery, so instead we went for a more cerebral ambience in this video (although there is a Part Two coming, where things take a turn for the psychedelic. More on that another time).

This may seem a little unusual for a relaxation video, but it's typical of us, the Ambient Dawn family (literally a family) to go somewhere unqiue, film it, and then put our original music on it. We don't really do chakra healing, or 432hz tones, or any of that stuff. Instead, we'd rather take you on our adventures, and bring you peace, calm, and relaxation.
