In this video we see the final across-Britain tour with XH558 'Spirit of Great Britain'. Now, this is not just another video of '558, but one of her final flights in 2015, flying over XM715 'Teasin Tina', the last ever Handley Page Victor to take to the skies.
On the weekend of 10th & 11th October 2015, we see XH558 fly over the north and south of Britain with the first pass at Barton Aerodrome and City Airport in Salford. We get a unique viewing spot, above the crowds in the control tower. The second and third passes were filmed on the Sunday at her old home of Bruntingthorpe in Leicestershire. We see 558 and 715 positioning on the runway and I got the coveted centre spot for the flypasts, meaning an excellent opportunity to get one last good shot of the Vulcan before her retirement.
So sit back and enjoy the video!
