This man AGGRESSIVELY took advantage of what sounds like a woman who grew up in poverty so doesn’t know much about these types of financial transactions. The audio diaries are a clear sign she’s being gaslit regularly and doubting her memory. As for why she didn’t leave, isn’t it obvious? She was heavily financially reliant on him, pregnant, and it sounds like she’s the kind of religious person that wouldn’t get an abortion.
