I understand that Smith can’t interfere in the justice system, but her response was definitely disappointing and underwhelming.
Those blockades were necessary to FINALLY get the attention and justice deserved by Canadian citizens.
We must ask ourselves what happens the next time our government overreaches, and there will be a next time! It is happening even now.
Bravo to the best of the brave people who stood up against the tyranny. Thumbs down for Danielle. She disappointed fer sure.

This is so disturbing to me. The police in Ottawa can break the law and do heinous acts to the people and 2 years later it is confirmed but 3 guys at the AB Coutts blockade are found guilty of protesting and they could receive up to 10 years in prison. It is unjust.

I am deeply disheartened for your arrest and verdict that was determined, but please understand the awkward position that question cornered Daniel into. At same moment the savage protesters blocked the access to port.

As a crown sworn lover of colonialism she will stand with the Crown. We are her subjects just t like our PM is Crown sworn. The only way to change Alberta but especially Canada is to dismember the Crown constitutional monarcy and draft a new constitution. I heard it was the RCMP that closed the lane the protestors had open. If true the blocking of the whole road was the RCMPs fault, they are blaming the protesters. If critical infrastructure shouldn't be blocked, why are the green moment cult not being charged for throwing trash on the roads and railway lines and starting fires? The Coutts protestors should be let go. I know she is trying to play it safe but her response was disappointing. Thank you protestors who could go to the Coutts protest. Canadians stand behind you, thank you for standing up against our crazy government.
