Currently watching this in October of 2020. It is hard to believe it has been 16 years. A toast to all of you that lived through the beginning years of Halo. I will never forget it. Truly a special moment.

I actually had Halo 2 in hand 2 weeks prior to lauch. Manager at the store I worked at and a few of us broke the street date and the manager took our money and rang us all up on launch night as if we were there and had paid for it.
Surreal feeling having the game before a lot of other people did, definitely stayed off of Xbox Live until launch day though, didn't want to get our store into trouble.

Truly the launch of Halo 2 was history in the making, it was an experience, it was a celebration and that is one of the many things Halo does right, we know how to throw a party.
So long ago, I feel like a veteran, been there from the beginning, saw it all. Not too many people left who remember the glory days of Halo: CE and the cool things that happened then.
I was outside my local EB games (before they merged) and remember everybody was so pumped. Good times.

I was so upset when this game came out because the pistol was no longer the best weapon. In halo 1 if you didn't master the pistol you had no chance. But i got used to it.

Halo 2 was the only midnight launch I cared to go to. I was like mst have Halo 2z at midnightz. Me and some friends drove 2 hours away. Halo 2 forever baby!
