Still to this day, this song is perfect. It punches the soul softly.

I had this thing to call my own Just one slip and it was gone A minor flaw and then it fell I brought this house down on myself I didn't know just what I'd done I didn't know just what I'd done I don't remember anymore what I used to be Where is the quiet piece of home where I could breathe? Just like a razor to my soul when I'm alone Oh, I had this thing to call my own I'm so confused, I cannot see This wave of guilt is drowning me It feels like blood is on my hands I'd give it all for a second chance I still don't know just what I've done I still don't know just what I've done I don't remember anymore what I used to be There was a fire burning strong inside of me Just like the soothing loving warmth of summer sun Oh, I had this thing to call my own I had this thing to call my own I had this thing to call my own I never meant to let you go I never meant to let you go I never meant to let you go I never meant to let you go

Royksopp feels like a toy that never gets boring! You are just happy to listen to R when you come home.

"There was a fire burning strong inside of me." It's been so long I've forgotten what that feels like.

This song, sordid affair, and here she comes again are absolutely stunning pieces of creativity. A perfect mixture of tasteful art, and catchy beats. Please make more in the spirit of these songs, you guys have the spark.

This song just makes me cry. Like a good film does. Another Röyksopp’s masterpiece.

I met this incredible girl, we had the best week ever, everything great you can imagine. But she had already bought an apartment in another city, and just like that, she moved away. This song brings the wonderful memories and nights together fresh into my mind like a sharp melodic dagger of the most exquisite pain. Life is pain, but it is beautiful too.

I always thought this song was an incredible electronic/dance song, and while it still is, it was only last summer that I realized how devastatingly heartbreaking it is. A song that usually got me up and dancing suddenly had me breaking down in tears. And now in retrospect, this might be the best song I've ever heard

I love how this song is a heartbeat, and breathing, and the spilling of guts to whoever will listen, even if it's just to yourself

The way the distress builds in the latter half it really conveys the emotions before falling off, sort of the way that kind of thing leaves you bereft and drained. This whole song always tears me to shreds.

Six years later as a daily listen it’s still a simple remembrance to me of how much I love my wife.
