I think he definitely needs some reworking. He's fun to play, but more difficult than he needs to be making him a high skill character with little reward. His abilities take up so much of the screen and with natural lag it makes it worse. If they adjust his gameplay, he'll be much better than a mid tier pick.

havent watched through the whole video yet but something i like to do when i play composer is i start out decoding at the highest level so i reach max decoding speed as fast as possible, and then once i get that 20% buff i slow it down to level 2 so i dont lose any of my buff and i can focus on my surroundings better. i find it to be the most beneficial way to decode with him :)

Here are some additional notes about Composer! I may add more in the future if I think of any more, or if new things are brought to my attention. Happy decoding everyone!
1. Exit path is desirable on the persona web, as with all survivors.
2. Be very aware of hunters with abilities such as Bloody Queen's mirror, Dream Witch's followers, Wu Chang's umbrella, Axeboy's souls, etc. that may try and sneak up on you for free hits or terrorshocks. These are going to be a distracted player's weakness.
3. The tuning fork, outside of transitions, can be VERY useful for dodging hits at the last second. Try and time your usage of it wisely, and play it by ear when you need and don't need to use it, outside of kiting. It has a long cooldown, but is a very powerful tool, so it's best to always adapt, and figure out the best way to use it in your current situation.
4. Similarly, unless you need to use the fork to get to a gate quickly, try to save it for if a hunter teleports to your gate and you need to make a quick get away. If you can be decoding/waiting at a gate with your tuning fork up and ready, you already have an advantage over late game teleports.
5. Since the recording of this video, I have replaced my one point in "Airwalk" with one in "Weber's Law", which may be a better build, but how you chose to invest points otherwise is up to you.
6. In this video, I say something along the lines of the "three misses" only mattering early game, which is a dumb statement to make since they are crucial late-game as well. Try to be more careful about keeping combos on ciphers that are being primed, as it can give away your location to the hunter. Of course, the same would be done with a normal calibration failure, or if the hunter looks for shaking, but it's still important to try and be aware of that.

I just wish there was little more reward for having a high combo, like maintaining a 120+ combo on andante should nyoom the progression forward by more, or just have him decode faster as a baseline. Right now, Helena(Mind's Eye) decodes a solo cipher in 62.31 seconds (based on IdV's given stats) and it takes 67.5 with 80 stacks of tonal sensation. Hell, 67.5 is how long it takes Lawyer to decode after reaching 100% decoding progress and he doesn't have to constantly risk losing that bonus.
I love playing Composer, he's one of my highest played survivors, but the novelty of being good at the rhythm game keeps me going more than his practicality. :(
