This show is so obnoxious lol. I watched one episode and wanted to break the tv from how stupid it was. 😅 The way I see good parenting: (any time I say him / her / s/he, I’m referring to a child.). I am not a parent but I will share what I’ve learned and read. 1. allow him / her privacy. Allow the bedroom door to be closed but check in every once in a while to make sure s/he’s not up to no good. 2. no phones or electronics of their own until age 16-18 (seeing toddlers and young kids (that are old enough to act properly at the table) staring at a screen in a public place is so obnoxious and an EXTREMELY good way to get them severely addicted to screens). Leave the electronics at home where they belong and teach him / her to have PROPER TABLE MANNERS. 3. Don’t hit your kid… hitting and / or strapping her/him to a chair until s/he nearly can’t breath (like I was) is just plain abuse… unless s/he did something so severely wrong, that s/he deserved being hit a few times, then that’s fine as fair punishment ~ just don’t over do the punishment… if s/he spills or breaks something, just tell her / him that accidents happen and show her / him how to properly and SAFELY clean it up (except if s/he’s at such a young age where it could be potentially dangerous to his / her safety - broken glass, spilled cleaning chemical, etc.). 4. Allow friends over for a play date / sleep over when it’s possible. Of course there will always be times when it’s just not possible in any way, shape, or form, but always do your best to allow some fun time with friends. 5. Don’t ever choose favorites. It’ll only cause issues. 6. For the love of God, if s/he ever starts vaping or drugs, get them mental therapy… kicking him / her out of the house will only make the addiction worse. 7. Don’t ever force getting a job on him / her. S/he will get one when s/he’s ready to. Even if it takes a few years beyond normal time. Everyone works at his / her own pace. I’m 19 and don’t have a job ~ yet. I’m working on becoming a game designer, but because I severely struggle with learning in school, I’m trying to self teach the basics first before I try any college schooling at it. That’s all the tips I have for now.
