STEPS: (HOW TO UPLOAD)

1) Go to YouTube app.
2) Click the plus sign, then click upload a video.
3) Click your video.
4) Write title, description and etc.
5) Upload it.

STEPS: (MUSIC CREDITS)

1) Search the song on YouTube and copy the text written with song, artist, album, and license to youtube by.

2) Copy the text in the description in this video. From “Music in this video” until the “copyright disclaimer.”

3) Put some space and write the name of the ‘Song’, ‘Artist’, ‘Album’ and ‘License to YouTube by’. Some music also have ‘Writers’. Make sure that the space is correct or align, okay? It won't work if the space is wrong.

Note: To copy the License to YouTube by, you'll notice a semicolon, that means you don't have to copy all of it, only the words BEFORE the semicolon.

3) Wait for 12 hours then the music credits will be valid.

NOTE: This doesn't mean you'll get away from copyright strike from YouTube :))

OH. MY. GOD. I haven’t yet started my YouTube channel (hoping to do so, but for animation memes ig you need music or playback), and I really needed this in shorter words then 18+ minutes. You’ve saved /my/ life and day, thank youuuuu!!

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Since a lot of you keep complaining about having copyright claims immediately even after putting music credits, this video is ONLY about how to put music credits. Not, "How to avoid copyright claim." If you don't want to have copyright claim, you have to PAY for the songs you are going to use on your videos.

how do you know when the credits are viable? I waited 20 hours and I'm not sure if they're viable or not...

So do you only have to give credit to one song and then youtube adds the credit for the rest of the songs? As I am trying to upload a playlist with over 10 songs but it keeps blocking the video worldwide :(

Wait, so say if I’m using the same song as someone on YouTube and they have the song credits in the description, can you just copy and paste their description of the song credits into your description or would you have to do this?

the video is just a non sense, You dont have to copy all of that it will automatically credit its own in less then 24 hours in the desc if it doesnt then thats mean the song isnt copyrighted.. just credit the song name and the artist thats it to avoid copyright strike

Ik this is a dumb question but is it 12 hours after the changes was made or 12 hours after the videos is uploaded? It worked on one of my vids instantly but not my most recent upload .

Question - see on your description the music artist licenses . Is there a way I can have that show on my video. Or is it my subscription number is low. Thanks
