For us, it has been a weird and intense year. Facing difficulties with unfair YouTube policies that resulted in a temporary break has struck us hard, but the support we received at the same time from so many of you has been overwhelming and heartwarming! ❤️ Because of you, we were able to make a restart after a break of almost four months; and we can’t thank you enough for that! Many of you signed our online petitions against YouTube’s decision and we received so much encouragement, advice and support through all your comments, messages and emails. Your financial support through Patreon made it possible to pay our office bills and get back to work! THANK YOU!!! It’s so great to share the passion for indie folk music with you. We truly enjoy working with all these different artists and we hope to keep spreading these amazing songs, with all these great stories, life lessons and encouragements, for the next one hundred years 🙃 Let's make 2020 a beautiful year together! 💡 Some facts about this ‘Best of 2019’ video: #1 We created more than ten draft versions before we created this final playlist #2 We initially placed the last song as the first song in most of the draft versions #3 We determined the order of the songs based on our gut feelings and tried to create the perfect vibe throughout the entire playlist.
