I want to thank you. You honesty saved my life with this song. I started listening to your music after my ex cheated on me with my best friend of 15 years. A close friend of mine gave me a copy of Skin and Earth after that happened and I started marathoning all your music on your channel - Almost Had Me was a lot of my source of getting out of bed. Or channeling my emotions driving home from a job I hated. Or fighting back those suicidal whispers. I guess I interpreted it as no matter what shitty hand life gives you, you can still fight your way out.

This totally blew me away. Almost Had Me was emotionally hitting enough, but the wind in the backround as well as the guitar in this version just hits you right in the feels. By far the best rework on the album. Best song totally goes to Down Forever fwiw.

When will your fave ever drive for hours to a desert in the middle of nowhere just to record an acoustic version of one of her songs. Damn she really popped off with this acoustic album. Talk about being original.
