Decluttering was the tip of the iceberg for my personal growth and it's really wild to see that letting go of all that stuff, including the opinions of other people about me, my fears, and saying no more often led me to see value in myself. I feel like my story is only still just beginning but I can tell you confidently that that moment on when I decided to really commit to my personal growth and just see where it would take me and start having boundaries and the places that it's taken me so far past decluttering.

Just lost my house and have a month to get out. Getting rid of everything and trying out the van life. Have been having a hard time with donating things instead of selling them. I needed this video!

When my husband and I retied and moved away we decluttered our home, where we live now its clean and uncluttered so we have so much time to enjoy the countryside around us instead of cleaning. My mind feels so uncluttered too

I was asked by a friend the other day if there is anything I regret getting rid of and naturally, without a second of delay, I said ā€œno, thereā€™s really not, I donā€™t even think I can remember the majority of what I have decluttered at this pointā€. Thank you Madi for all your inspiration, Iā€™m so happy to have found your channel.

I love that. "This is just stuff." People really hold on to their stuff like it is really important. . .when really, we can't take anything with us in death and all that matters are the relationships we form with others and the way we lived our lives. I also love how decluttering really does help us see God in such a pure way. I have been trying to convince my parents to let me help them declutter their home with them, since they told me in December they celebrated living there for 50 years (and they've never had a garage sale or anything ever). My dad told me that they have paperwork in his garage from 1990. I was like, "Why do you have that?" He said, "I guess it is time I burn that stuff." I have my work cut out for me, but I have decluttered their bathroom and kitchen in the past. I appreciate the things you said on this video. Thank you.

Its interesting to me that I get so much pushback from others about being so minimal. Some people ask me if I'm narcotic because my house isn't messy..... but its actually just minimal. Funny how things can be perceived... and annoying. Thanks for this great video!! You have been making me think about my holiday decor boxes.... those aren't necessary...

Exactly what Iā€™ve been practicing since the new year began. It began with decluttering stuff. Then that freed me up in so many ways and I made space for slowing down, being in nature, walking, yoga and creativity. We donā€™t need stuff. We need space to thrive.

I watched this video 3 times & during the 3rd viewing I took notes. Your insight is remarkable. Honestly, I started watching your channel for the California vibes & aesthetic. I decluttered my home several years ago from watching The Minimal Mom. Now I watch your channel for the life lessons.

I was binge watching (again) your videos, and poof! A new one shows up. Iā€™m only half way through this video and youā€™ve already made so many good points that make me feel like youā€™re talking directly to me. Thank you for your encouragement! ā¤ļø

I've watched a lot of your videos over the past six months (AND purchased your course) and by far this is the most electrifying yet. Your voice and messages are so powerful, thank you for sharing and for lighting the way! My life has truly changed thanks to your work.

Yes & amen!! I love how you talked about just in case items especially kids toys/clothes for the ā€œfutureā€. Thatā€™s been something Iā€™ve been working through and itā€™s made such a difference.

I used to hoard so much stuff. Recently, my brother helped me clear out my junk. I had to trust him, and he comforted me while i experienced anxiety as he got rid of stuff (I believe it agitated demons around). Especially under the bed. I've never liked storing anything under my bed. And, now my room is so minimal...I love it. It is absolutely relaxing not having so much stuff to look at. Im going through a white, gray aesthetic.

Whoa. I watched this yesterday on my tv while doing some pt exercises. It was so powerful. I was cringing and uncomfortable thinking about the truth bombs here and actually had a tear rolling down my cheek! Thank you. šŸ˜‚
