I was asked by a friend the other day if there is anything I regret getting rid of and naturally, without a second of delay, I said āno, thereās really not, I donāt even think I can remember the majority of what I have decluttered at this pointā. Thank you Madi for all your inspiration, Iām so happy to have found your channel.

I love that. "This is just stuff." People really hold on to their stuff like it is really important. . .when really, we can't take anything with us in death and all that matters are the relationships we form with others and the way we lived our lives. I also love how decluttering really does help us see God in such a pure way.
I have been trying to convince my parents to let me help them declutter their home with them, since they told me in December they celebrated living there for 50 years (and they've never had a garage sale or anything ever). My dad told me that they have paperwork in his garage from 1990. I was like, "Why do you have that?" He said, "I guess it is time I burn that stuff." I have my work cut out for me, but I have decluttered their bathroom and kitchen in the past.
I appreciate the things you said on this video. Thank you.

Its interesting to me that I get so much pushback from others about being so minimal. Some people ask me if I'm narcotic because my house isn't messy..... but its actually just minimal. Funny how things can be perceived... and annoying. Thanks for this great video!! You have been making me think about my holiday decor boxes.... those aren't necessary...

I used to hoard so much stuff.
Recently, my brother helped me clear out my junk.
I had to trust him, and he comforted me while i experienced anxiety as he got rid of stuff (I believe it agitated demons around).
Especially under the bed.
I've never liked storing anything under my bed.
And, now my room is so minimal...I love it.
It is absolutely relaxing not having so much stuff to look at.
Im going through a white, gray aesthetic.
