Ok, ok, so we know this happened a year ago! But, better late than never. Here, we present to you, a new video of some snippets of the Flying Nun Records 40th Anniversary Show in Wellington, held on 7th August 2021, at the Michael Fowler Centre.

As with the Auckland event, Fuzzy was there. There are musical performances, dancing and much more. Fuzzy meets the good people of Wellington and asks them some probing questions. All in all, this is a great chance to remember a good time!

The lineup on the night included The Chills, Aldous Harding, Reb Fountain, The Bats, Superette, Voom, Subliminals and Purple Pilgrims - although this video doesn’t include all of these artists.

The video was edited by East Abernathy and filmed by Lochie Noble, Will Agnew, Kerry Pulham and Callum Devlin. Fuzzy was provided by Sports Team.

First time hearing (and seeing!) Purple Pilgrims. Totally a big fan now. They have 100 followers on their youtube - how is that even possible?? Should be thousands and growing!!! Thanks to Flying Nun for the introduction! Hope these women continue their wonderfulness for decades to come!!
