Honda Civic Interior Detail Transformation | Deep Cleaning EVERYTHING!

My Budget Honda Civic Build is finally read for what I do BEST: Detailing! So in today's video we do a SEATS OUT Deep Clean on the Carpets, Plastics, Upholstery, and more. Even if it's a cheap car, I wanted to give it a proper detailing transformation. Enjoy!

While I wouldn't call this a disaster detail by any means, this Honda Civic was definitely subject to neglect. The carpets were caked with dirt and deep stains from years of not being cleaned. The car's plastics were dry, dusty, and in need of some serious UV protection. Needless to say, I've been dying to detail this interior for obsessive and sanitary reasons. So today I wanted to show you what's possible with some good products, affordable detailing tools, and good ole elbow grease.

A "seats out" detail is something I don't often do, but after 21 years of soil, it needed it. I began this detail with removing both front and rear seats, center console plastics, and everything in the trunk. From there it was just a matter of vacuuming everything up and blowing out the interior with compressed air. Once I had a good starting point, I could deep clean the plastics and work my way to detailing the car's carpet and seats. For my all purpose cleaner of choice, I used Koch Chemie Green Star for all of the interior. Using my steamer on the interior really helped move things along and did a majority of the work. Out of everything though, I think my garage sale Bissell extractor was the star of the show.

Removing stains out of carpets is always a coin toss. Some stains are MUCH harder to remove. So I spent some serious time on the footwells to remove all the embedded dirt. Most people ask how I do carpet lines on the interior, and it's just a matter of using a stiff brush and working it in alternating patterns. Overall I think this $900 Honda Civic had a GREAT transformation minus the seats, but that's nothing a junkyard run can't fix.

Hopefully you enjoyed this episode and learned a thing or two along the way! For some of the things I used in this video, check out the links below!

Ah, yes. A 90's plastic interior awash in a swathe of grey. Absolutely iconic.

Hey man you're the one inspired me enough to round all of my change to get a civic, I love it for a long time but never get pump enough because my budget is super tight. I've been hold off for 6 months then I see one post online for 700$ civic (it's gold right now in California), 2nd owner lowest trim and in a really beat up condition, your interior is like 10 times better than mine but I fix it up for a month straight. Now she is beautiful, the best feeling is you're driving the car that you put on a ton off love in. Thank you for bring me in the civic world. Great to meet up with you in real life.

Just found you randomly. Great video. I also really appreciate that you listed all the tools that you used; the method of shampooing my car's carpet has always stumped me. Thanks for the videos! Subscribed.

Just came across this and damn you gave me way more inspiration for my 2000 Honda Civic ex. Bought it for $600 and needed a timing belt. Fixed it and now itโ€™s time to make the interior look nicer

Fantastic job man, seriously. I have a Type F interior in my Civic and even though I wished I had the darker interior like the red Civic, you made the Type F look really good. Love ur uploads ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿฝ
