My mum has just had a stroke. We don’t know if she is going to live. I’ve not cried all day but I’m lying in bed listening to this and can’t stop crying. My dad’s favourite song was Rocket Man. Listening to this, seeing the rocket and thinking of my mum has me in floods of tears. Such a beautiful song, by two people who have had their fair share of heartache, especially Brittany. I guess suffering, grief and loss is universal and it takes artists to allow us to feel things we try and push down. 💕
