I was suicidal for about 3 years and was ripped apart by cortisol. Same symptoms as you. After LOTS of different doctors and drugs, I found Ashagwanda. Saved my life.

The fact that there are nearly 145k views on this (and it seems to be her most watched video) says something about our modern world and where weā€™ve gotten to. Iā€™m so sick of putting myself through this. If youā€™re reading this youā€™re not the only one dealing with it. Youā€™re not alone. Amazing video. The part at 18 minutes where she talks about ā€œthe stress we put on ourselvesā€ is the part of the iceberg that is under the surface... itā€™s the biggest thing. Thank you so much for posting this. I feel normal and not crazy.

You just described my exact story. Severe stress gave me shingles four years ago which threw me into menopause at 39 and developing an autoimmune disorder. Iā€™ve been fighting for help. No doctors cared or listened. I finally found a functional medicine doctor and I am finally on the right track.

I felt the same way, for my whole life my home was filled with constant arguing and manipulation. I had no where to go and didn't know better. Now I have learned what my family actually is, abusive and neglectful. And yes, my legs are still weak very often and give out as I walk and I haven't felt safe or able to relax for a long time now. It's odd as my body seeming can't function properly even though I'm 22 and healthy. Though I am seeking help.

Anxiety, worry, depression, work stress, lack of sleep, I believe caused me this... I would sometimes "crash" to where i would have to stop working and lie down for 20 minutes.. like my blood sugars dropped or sompthing...I sometimes get palpitations, feeling like it's tight to breath, anxiety, feeling tired but not tired.. more anxiety.. low mood

Thank you for sharing and caring. Loved your video. I've had adrenal insufficiency for over 15 months... what a journey! Was on crutches at one point. Ashgawanda helped with both thyroid and adrenals, as did Ribose re the fatigue. The latter is a pre-cursor to Adenosine Triphosphate, ATP (the energy molecule). ATP is also found in Royal Jelly... as are B vitamins. Good luck everyone... the amount of people who give up on you because you no longer have the vibrancy truly makes you realise who your true friends are... recovery can be a lonely experience although we aren't alone... thanks again.

A Naturopath gave me my life back after 25 years of Chronic fatigue. 25 years of being told I was depressed, needed to get a hobby, needed to get on with my life & stop complaining as everyone gets tired, was shown the door by my GP as I refused HRT as I knew deep down that wasn't the answer. I also tried bio identical hormones but found the costs too prohibitive and the results didn't reflect the investment. In the end a strict dietary change and a few supplements led to my energy returning in just 10 days, it felt like a miracle and 3 years on I still feel amazing and am busy making up for the 25 years of life I missed out on. I was lucky to find a amazing Naturopath locally who gave me the tools to heal myself and I only needed to see her once.

I had this for years and like you, the Doctors kept telling me that it was nothing, or tried putting me on antidepressants. At the end, he told me it as just who I was. Nothing they can do. Finally I found this wonderful Naturopath who healed me!! I was so grateful. I still see him 3-4 times a year for adjustments, usually always my adrenals. I have a stressful life, and work does not help either. It is so sad and frustrating that the Doctors do not see this as a real issue! Thank you for your video.

It took me 6 years to figure it out. I was exhausted for years, and all doctors told me I was fine. Thank you for your video.

Chronic Stress was the cause of mine autoimmune issues. I suffered from eczema, psoriasis, depression, anxiety, excess sweating, brain fog, chronic fatigue etc etc, just to name a few. This was happening for years and each symptom was worsening since i was so frustrated and depressed about the situation, making myself more stresses out. Finally realizing that its me and my emotions causing this, i was finally able to cure myself, before that i ve tried exercising a lot, all kinds of diets and supplements, nothing worked

Thank you very helpful information, Iā€™m pretty sure I developed adrenal fatigue from being married to an alcoholic for 8 years, emotional abuse and stress took a toll on my adrenals but Iā€™m being positive and I know Iā€™m gonna recover with Gods help.

Thank you for sharing. I cried a little watching this video realizing I'm not alone, realizing that there is help and I'm not crazy. I've known theres soemthing wrong with me, I can feel the hormone imbalances, I just didnt know where to begin or go about explaining what I have. And the primary doctor I've been to think I'm just overreacting tells me to get rest, but even with rest I dont feel better. So thank you, I now start my journey in trying to heal myself.

I had the same experience with the exhaustion and trying to figure out what was going on. My thyroid was fine so my doctor just assumed I was tired. It was hard to explain how I feel like I should have to feel like this forever. I accidently found aĀ  doctor that suggested a ketogenic diet and I'm brand new person. I feel awake for the first time since I can remember and I lost 73 pounds so far. No drugs or supplements. I'm so glad I found out about this even if it was by accident and I'm a nurse. This is not even mentioned in school. You are right that it's not really acknowledged by the mainstream medical community. Thank you for yourĀ video and bringing more awareness to the subject. It makes meĀ angry to think that too many people are being diagnosed with depression and anxiety disorders needlessly when they could be suffering from adrenal fatigue.
