I grew up in the 60's (my teen years) watching Leonard Bernstein and his TV series of Young People's Concerts. I was first introduced to a lot of History and Music I might not have listened to until years later. Loved that show and the man himself. Still listen to a lot of the recordings of music he directed. Looking forward to Maestro. Always enjoy your previews of what's coming. Have really enjoyed watching a LOT of the Korean offerings, so thanks for highlighting those shows and movies. Best of the Holdiays to you and your family.

I'm more familiar with Luc's work for Transporter, but i've also seen those you've mentioned. Leon the Professional is one of my favorites as it introduced me to Jean Reno and a young Natalie Portman.

Leonard Bernstein had a massive effect on classical music in the United States and around the world. He was also a life long humanitarian. He had flaws like everyone but an extraordinary human being. I hope the film does his life justice.

Really enjoy checking our your recommendations, even if for me, they can be off sometimes (of course, you nail some of my favorites too). I additionally appreciate some of your insights on the film. Like if it is an art house film or maybe just pure gore, to give people an idea of what to expect. That is very helpful.
As for this review, thanks for the head up on The Meg. I thought it was going to be more like a serious thriller movie, but as you said, not as serious as you think. That helped me a lot going into it, and I am able to actually enjoy it now. Without that heads up, I know I would have hated it, because it was not going to meet my expectation, of what I thought it was. So thanks, and see you on your next recommendation.

The only movie coming to Netflix that I haven't already seen that I am mildly interested in would be Rebel Moon (no doubt it will look good but be utterly stupid). I've already owned Lucy, Shazam, The Meg, The Batman and The Suicide Squad in 4K for ages and L.A. Confidential, Black Swan, and Insidious on Blu-ray.
Speaking of The Suicide Squad: the reason it's so good is because it was basically an Anti-Guardians movie.
