About the worst thing you can do during inflation escalating towards hyperinflation is mindlessly squirrel away “money” . The dollar is a fiat currency unbanked by anything of except hope. The average lifespan of a fiat currency is 30 years. The U.S. dollar has been a fiat currency since 1971 & has lost 94% of its value since then. When will it lose the final 6% of its value? Nobody can say for sure but I doubt it will take 60 years.

Man this guy hates gold/precious metals. Gold went up 13% the past year, not bad vs. a multitude of stocks. It’s not bad to have some as a backstop, because this central bank/ fiat currency is going to crash, they all have through time.
