You have just described my entire life as a woman with long hair. But you did it with extreme accuracy so I'm impressed 🤣

As a black person, I really forget other people don't sleep with a bonnet or something on their head 😂 If anyone has long hair or is considering growing it out, try the bonnet at home, it helps!

your pain is so valid but you're still insane for accepting defeat and eating the hair

As a woman who went from curly hair that almost touched my butt when straight, then went to a bob that sat just below my ears- I had this experience in reverse. Now I am fixated on the idea of shaving it. It's only a matter of time. I need to know. The clippers are calling out to me. They sing me a siren song filled with promises of 5 minute showers and being dry immediately after getting out of the shower. I cannot fight it much longer. The buzzening is coming.

I've had long hair my whole life and when the pandemic started I decided it was the prefect time to trim all my hair off and man, I never realized how much easier day to day life is without all the hair! Im currently growing my hair long again because I want to donate it but once I decide it's long enough and cut it off I think Im going to keep it short

I've had long hair for most of my life & it's a constant battle between shaving myself bald from annoyance or growing it out even longer

I too have long hair, though I'm used to all these "struggles" you went through, so I commend you for taking this adventure in stride. I hate my long hair and will be so happy once I get it cut.

Just had to cut my hair yesterday, got my hair length to my shoulders and was devastated when I cut it. I agree with all you points though, guess I won’t have those problems anymore. Thanks for the video man!

The best part about having short hair is being able to put on headphones and getting that nice seal around your ears. I imagine the experience only gets better if you completely shave your head.

As someone who also grew out their hair during covid, this is the most relatable video i have ever seen

I’m currently in that “awkward phase” and my family is constantly trying to get me to cut my hair, I continuously refuse. 😅

To anyone ready to give it a try, I'd recommend stocking up on hair ties. A high bun to sleep, a ponytail to eat, a mini front bun to draw, or just have it all in 1 or 2 braids 24/7.

as a woman with extremely long hair, i can agree the hair gets literally everywhere my siblings find my hair in their beds sometimes despite me never going in their beds before lmao

I've pretty much always had long hair. I would suggest if you don't want to have to flip your hair at night, put it in a bun on top of your head. Or some other hairstyle if the bun doesn't work.

For people with long hair, I found that using my tongue to scan my mouth, retrieve the hair and bring it to my teeth so that it is easier to pull out and wouldn't involve putting half of my hand in my mouth was a pretty effective technique

haven't been to a proper barber in about 10 years now, only cutting my hair when it starts to absolutely fall apart at the tips, and I still don't regret it, despite the slight hassle it tends to bring.

It's really interesting seeing just how many guys I've seen in my schools grow their hair simultaneously, and one by one, they all started to cut it again once it reached shoulder length. But me being the transgender girl that I am, this was the perfect opportunity to grow it nonchalantly and I don't plan on cutting it any time soon (still trimming though) It's relieving hearing a documented story about what it feels like to grow your hair out for the first time because I related a lot with this video! And it also helped confirm my conspiracy that a ton of guys were thinking the same process during covid
