On the topic of boys growing up and not learning "girly" things, I struggle with hair and makeup. I don't know how to do any hair styles other than just a basic ponytail and I don't know the first thing about actually making my hair nice, so I always have the same hair every day :/. Makeup is also rough because there are so many products and I don't know the first thing about makeup. Even "basic" makeup tutorials seem to assume at least some level of understanding of what you're doing. I'm also not confident enough to go out in public with crappy makeup on, so my motivation to experiment with makeup is limited

I was so lucky to have a gay hair and beauty bestie to ask me about my skin care, I told him I had a 3 in 1 Nivea thing and he was like "Ooooh girl nooooo". Now I cleanse and flannel, toner, use a good none greasy moisturiser then dot on some under eye specific moisturiser each night. So damn affirming to go to bed feeling like a princess!

Little advice on the claw clips/ anything similar thats solid and on the back of your head: don't drive with them. If you have an accident and your head gets slammed into the seat that clip will be extremely dangerous. But like you said they are great for keeping your hair out of your face!
Btw look for dresses with pockets!

I must say that I‘m always a bit scared of clicking on videos like these because sometimes they just make me realize what I still have to do and amplify my anxiety about „not passing“ but your videos really aren‘t like that at all. Your channel always feels like a little safe haven.
Keep it up and thank you so much :D

I love my thick eyebrows so I rarely pluck them. Trying to take off some of the underside and trim/shape them up so they're not just rectangles can really help too if you like the thicker look. Just recently got my girlfriend to cut my bangs a few months ago and I've been obsessed after 3 years HRT without bangs. Depending on your face shape it can be magical, my face changed a LOT. My haircare routine has changed as my hair texture pre-HRT was super curly, thick and frizzy, and now it's much straighter and easier to manage than ever. It's softer and silkier, same with skin. I just wash with dandruff shampoo at my roots, use argan oil conditioner, then put a dime of leave in conditioner & anti-frizz serum in my hair, brush it out and then scrunch it with a microfiber towel. Then put very gentle coconut/avocado oil mousse in at the end, very cute bouncy curls w/straightened bangs. I also use nail strengthener for my nails and it's made a huge difference. Also whenever my hair needs a refresh I use egg whites or rice water, it works so well. For my face, simple exfoliant, toner (or witch hazel is my favorite), and serum is plenty. Love you & thank you Icky!

Icky always manages to make my day better, i've recently discovered the fact that i was trans around 4-5 months ago. However i am extremely young at 13 years old, and very regularly do i feel overwhelmed or trapped with my fate because of the amount of hate and difficulty that it comes with to be a trans child. Im incapable of getting a qualified therapist, nor any type of medication (Partially because i moved to a new city.) I would truly like to thank you Icky for the support that i cannot particularly reach, we love you!
Also sidenote what's this about going ultra pink, i only wear baggy black things 🗿🗿🗿🗿
