There are so many songs about losing someone, but none are this honest about the self-destructive ways some people cope with that loss with drinking, sex, partying & sometimes drugs. Tove Lo tells that story without being vulgar or false.
Amazing performance of a song I love.
Edit: This comment is 9 years old! Everyone, please stop trying to educate me in the replies! 😂 No, I don't do drugs, and I never have. No I don't relate to the lyrics. But it's not my place to judge someone who does. It is not your place to tell people to find Jesus, either. I still agree with what I wrote except for "no other songs" being this honest, obviously there are many, but I was young, as you can imagine, since this comment is NINE years old. Lmao. Everyone leaving kind replies or feeling touched by my words are so sweet. I'm sorry to everyone who has lost loved ones to death and break ups. I wish you happiness and a beautiful life ❤️

I absolutely relate to this song. My husband died suddenly and i found myself living a life eerily similar to the one depicted in this song. I love this live version and can really feel the emotion when I sing it. RIP Joshua James Thompsen. I've got to stay high all my life to forget I'm missing you.

Her vocals are amazing. And the fact that they stand out over all the backing instruments just shows the power of her voice. The saddest thing about popular music these days is that everyone assumes all of them can't actually sing or write. The true talents go under the radar until they get a chance to prove themselves live.

Love the moment @2:12 when the drummer smiles at her going for it.
