Neil Peart was a magician on the drums, and an extraordinary soul with an incredible gift for lyrics and storytelling. The world is lesser without him. The great moment in this video starts at the 2:06 point, where Geddy sings the epic line "one likes to believe in the freedom of music, but glittering prizes and endless compromises shatter the illusion of integrity." Behind him, Alex and Neil smile mischievously at each other as they share the inside joke: they are (finally) singing these lines at - of all places - the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the center of the establishment music industry that had improperly rejected them for so long. Living well is the best revenge - and Neil certainly did that for as long as his body would let him. RIP.

3 guys that sounds like 6 onstage. Boy, they sure don't make them like this anymore. Talent, hard work and decades of experience. Glad we have it here online; I fear we won't see the likes of these guys anytime soon.

At 62 NOW and a spoiled middle -class growing up in the 70's with everything rock & roll from Alice Cooper to Peter Frampton, from Led Zeppelin to Queen jus naming a few...knowing I have been Literatured & Cultured in Music as a child from Opera to Classicals... eventually spreading my wings from my father's persuasion's...I have critique rock & roll for years now...and have concluded that The Number One Rock Band The one real -deal rock'n and roll'n of them ALL is none other than this 3piece band from Toronto Canada with each individual player just an incredible rare skill & talent -RUSH..and if you don't believe me..allow me to ask of you too listen to just one of many of their songs called WORKING MAN.. AND I CHALLENGE YOU TO FIND A MORE ROCK'N & ROLLING SONG THAN THIS!!..
