Golden leaves is the saddest song I ever heard because I was listening to it when I got the news my mum passed on... With her biography, I wrote the words..Whats left to say when theres no words to be spoken, whats left to see when our eyes wont open and whats left to break when our hearts are broken... I miss her anytime I hear this song, and have to skip it sometimes

Given the age you were when You wrote these lyrics it's absolutely clear that You're one if those old souls, with the abitily to tell stories. You notice one little thing about a situation, just a few words, and just like that the listener is inside somebody elses life, like
"he'll hold on to the three or four bullets that they left in the chest of drawers". This is pure heartbreak. You never named the feelings, still they are so vivid...A rare thing indeed. My favourite album, my favourite contemporary poet. Thank you Mike.

(You didn't choose those two percentages by accident, did you? ;) )
And can we talk about Scare Away The Dark and how incredibly amazing the lyrics of the second verse are?? π³

Dear Mike hope you had a happy and cute birthday.
Thank you for the gift of songs. Whispers is one of my favourite album of yours. Thank you so much for bringing it here for us. What can be better than listening to your songs with you and while you share with us behind the scene stories.
Love you very much Mike. Your presence is more important that having all the lyrics and cords correct.
The feeling and passion that we can feel is very precious, that is possible only in live sessions like this.
Yes it's one of the best albums of yours. It's difficult but beautiful to see you playing them after long.
Take care.
See you soon ππβ₯οΈπ
