America's perception of China makes it seem so scary and like the people there are all sad. Thank you for continuously showing what normal life looks like in other countries. Your channel shows how beautiful the world really is.

The little boy asking matt to keep playing with him was so adorable and wholesome, the interaction with those kids was the best part of the video in my opinion

Great example of how the media can distort the truth- the way this place has been reported online is that it's an abandoned ghost town when in fact it's the opposite full of life and lovely people!

Glad that you captured this. Being from the uk, I also had a certain expectation of China and how the locals were. However, having recently gone to Shanghai, Beijing and Xiā€™an, that expectation didnā€™t materialise. I was shocked by how friendly and accommodating the locals were, how clean and advanced the cities were and how safe I felt. What Iā€™ve learned is to never judge a place by what you read in the media. Politicians control the narrative so itā€™s more important to go and check places out and experience it yourself.

The irony is, itā€™s probably cleaner and safer than the real Paris. How France has fallen.

The most human and touching video I've ever seen regarding China. I think because most of the Chinese coverage is either, like Yan said, political, or when people do look at ordinary lives its people in Shanghai or Beijing, these huge mega cities. It was heartwarming seeing the interactions with the kids and families here, an emotional reminder that we are all human.

Iā€™m still shocked people donā€™t want to live in a cheap, less crowded version of Paris. I hope this city can thrive for a long time šŸ˜Š

This is one of the most touching video i've seen. It is really great to see how human beings are nice to each other. I didn't know that Chinese people are that kind and cheerful. I would like to thank you guys for showing the world the real version of such people from such country.

Despite the gimmick of trying to be a mini Paris, this is just good urban design - a mix of residential and commercial together, walkability, big open communal spaces - I would kill to have this as a mid-price housing community in North America!

During the first year of my studies I actually went there with a few of my fellow classmates from Germany. We have had the same feeling as you guys. It was super chill as a lot of places in China are soooo crowded, and the people were really friendly towards us. As we all speak Chinese we were able to talk to them and get to know a little bit more about their life there. Quick tip: if you visit Hangzhou, you can visit little Paris easily.

Man that old lady with the radio thing was sweet and she legit acted like one of my aunts would, the move she made after telling them she's 90 is exactly like one of my aunties antics. Shows you that people around the world are more similar than most people think they are.

It never feels right to me when people talk poorly about other countries. Good people don't have a nationality, they live everywhere! These videos are so beautiful.

Thank you very much for doing this video. The drone shots are amazing. I would have never known that there's a little Paris in China if not for your effort in going all the way there to shoot this video. Do keep up the awesome work and feed those who have much less resources. Bless you, guys.
