I don't believe her being a TERF is a recent thing;she just didn't start making comments until the past couple of years.
The reason I believe this has to do with the pen name she chose for her adult mystery series, Robert Galbraith. I believe she chose that name because she is a follower of a doctor named Robert Galbraith Heath who promoted conversion therapy/torture among other horrible things. Pretty big coincidence if this is not where she came up with the pen name many years ago. The first book in that series was published in 2013.

If you want to become trans as an adult, I support your right to do that. And would be totally comfortable associating with you. But, you’re not a biological woman, or biological man. You’re trans. This is a biological fact as expressed by every cell in your body which if you’re a biological male contains an X and a Y chromosome. If you’re a biological woman your cells contain two X chromosomes. That’s a fundamental biological fact and difference that can’t be erased by today’s technology.

Unlike Noah I will say "F You" to anyone posting publically about enjoying that area of a certain theme park or going to a certain play ect. (any NEW content that they ya know don't already own) You want to enjoy that? Cool do it without posting about it or you have to be prepared for backlash & to loose friends over it.
