I work in Vietnam and there are a lot of new stories here about young Vietnamese folks being tricked, or in some cases outright kidnapped or sold by family members, and forced to work in these Chinese casino/online scam centers based in Cambodia.
A couple of years ago there was a big uptick in these new reports because a few young men managed to escape from one and make it back to Vietnam.

B) Pig Butchering scams are rampant here in Asia as well, pretty much to the point where going on dating apps is just pretty much avoiding all scammers all day.
