While I can't quite endorse Jurassic World Evolution 2 as a robust park management sim, the area where it puts its main focus - the dinosaurs! - is engaging. Being able to hop into a tour looping around the raptor enclosure or taking direct control of a ranger team rushing to stop a catastrophic escape attempt during a raging storm creates a lot of the exact, awesome moments I want out of a modern Jurassic Park game. Especially compared to its frustratingly shallow predecessor, Jurassic World Evolution 2, uh, found a way.

The campaign is basically a tutorial, every map in Chaos Theory is its own campaign and they're long though. The dinosaurs feel alive, management is challenging, but fun, overall a very pretty, rather chill game with a nice feel of progression and homages to the franchise. 8/10, way superior to the first one.

I’ve seen people throwing fits about how hard this game is. Which is mind blowing since this is nothing compared to Planet zoo or planet coaster

The dinosaurs aren't supposed to be accurate. They are supposed to be a product, an attraction. It's been touched on a number of times in the movies. The prologue for the most recent one even features the individual that the T Rex was cloned from and shows it as being more scientifically accurate.

Its EXTREMELY clear the guy who reviewed this game didn't play the first as in the verdict he highlights things that were already in the original game and doesn't highlight the actual new features like the aviary which has been majorly improved from the second one or the brand new lagoons for aquatic creatures still agree with 7/10 tho

Well the raptors in the Jurassic movies aren't Velociraptors. They are actually Utahraptors. idk if you been to Utah, but that would tell you why the raptors don't need trees or tall grass. That enclosure is actually spot on.

Problem is THEY DID DIVERGE. The stegosaurus look great in jurassic park 2, and terrible in world. Because they made them look like 1950s dinosaur designs.
