Toto said Max was in a different galaxy, not RB

This season will be 18 drivers trying to battle Sergio Perez for number 2 spot in drivers championship The minister of defence has real task ahead of him

I know it’s early in the season but my championship dark horse is Max. I think he has a real shot.

Max was in outer space, that form was unreal.

I can see why Carlos had the third spot. He obviously did his own strategy. So for the other teams he is auditioning for, you get two for the price of one. A driver and a strategist.

A lot of people are upset at the prospect of another year of RB dominance, but how can anyone not be amazed by what they appear to have done? They could have just sat back and probably won both Championships with a minor tweaking/refresh of the RB19. But instead they massively redesigned their car despite the huge risk, and they appear to have made a massive leap right out of the box. We’re fortunate to be able to witness such high form.

RB is so far ahead that Checo can comfortably secure P2 with a mediocre race after not having a great quali

The gap to Checo is not that bad or insurmountable, the challenge is Max. He is just that talented and there is no law FIA can apply to solve the talent issue. He is just that good and it's not all car. To say we must pack up because Max is that dominant is like not watching Roland Garros cos of Nadal dominance. Some things you just have to accept that you are dealing with a generational talent in a good car. I keep joking the only way to enjoy is treat second as the new first.

@00:48 Why do the teams and you stay hammering on BR's dominance? This is just the result, not the cause. Every team had the same possibility to make their own car under the same rules and the same cost-cap (even ignoring the restrictions for RB). It simply is the inability and lack of originality of the teams to think for themselves and produce a competitive car. As of it seems right now, they put themselves a year behind. RB can't in any way be blamed for that! They need to have a hard honest look at themselves, bang their heads against a brick wall and be very ashamed while appreciating the achievement of RB.👴🤷

If Max finished second in most races, why wouldn’t RB just do a one year extension?

Great car RBR have produced again and Max is on another planet. F1 commentators need to just focus on the other teams, to give the impression, the 2024 season is entertaining.

Since this year is going to be a bore. Im proposing that Red Bull send Max to VCARB the last 5-6 races of season whenever they clinch the Drivers/constructors. Let Max try to put that car on the podium, hahaha

Matt needs to hide his bias better with that needless Alonso slander. I guess some habits of the British press just can’t go away
