As someone with B.A. in English (and a Masters in Library & Info Science) two things I hated in retrospect about the English education I received was 1) there was not a single foundational/intro course about proper grammar—I guess it was just assumed we received that education in high school and 2) very very limited course options for learning how to write. So basically the entire four years was just reading a shit ton of novels 🙄
