Just before Christmas I met a girl in a Manchester nightclub, we talked and after the club closed we talked some more in the street. She hugged then kissed me then left. I went home and found the White Ladder CD left for me as a Christmas present from my sister.
A few months earlier I'd been almost destroyed by a failed relationship but was ready to try again. I heard this song and it broke me. A year later I married that girl from the nightclub and that was fifteen years ago, we're still married.
