My grand daughter ( on the spectrum ) was worried that 'girls don't play drums' She taught herself this by watching the video over and over. Tonight was her 21st birthday party and she played this and a Baby Animals song..full out on her electric kit...she stunned her friends and their families and it was wonderful. I'm a 43 year old mother, grandmother, aunty, sister etc and I'm also a drummer. I've been playing since I was 13. I also play bass and electric guitars and have been for the same amount of time as the drums. I love the words you said at the end Dorothea. Ultimately it doesn't matter who you are, where you're from, what your ethnicity is or by what you look like, people shouldn't judge by the cover of a person. You slayed those drums.
