Prime Minister Anthony Albanese was heckled at a ‘No More’ rally against men’s violence in Canberra over the weekend.
The rally was attended by 5,000 people.
“We do need to do more,” Mr Thistlethwaite told Sky News Australia.
“We do need to change the culture.”

I was attracted by a mental patient in the work place. My employers and the government ducked and dived and wanted nothing to do with me. I went to the police and they would not take a statement because he was mental. I was told he would not be charged because of mental capacity. I have had to struggle

I see that whilst the Bondi attackers actions have been gratefully scooped up by the perpetually outraged, if the gender roles were reversed, the rally would be for mental health instead. There was also no express mention that 75% of the alleged 'mushroom killer's targets were males. That's not the kind of gendered violence with political utility.
