Magnum were one of first bands I saw live, they always produced the goods and always had time to talk to fans, so I am deeply saddened at the loss of the magnificent Tony Clarkin.

After all those those years still one of the most underrated Bands ever! Bob Catley's voice is still fantastic and Tony Clarkin has always had that certain feeling how a song should sound like. Honest music full of emotion, that's Magnum. I came to know Magnum as a kid sometime back in 1985, and they would rock me away from the first note on. "Blue Tango" has that certain kind. Could have been written in 1972, but it's Magnum in 2023! Real music never dies.

RIP Tony, you are now pain-free and no longer suffering. You WILL be missed very much. Thank you for writing fantastic songs that we Magnum fans will continue to enjoy and think of you. Your songwriting skills will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to your family, friends and the band, especially Bob. Thank you for your music, which will live on. 🙏🏾😢
