in past, if u want armor and stonelike MBT you go to russia, 4sec reload go grind japan, best penetration go to german, fast n furious go to USA, slow but sure go to british, all or nothing go to italy, and france just lec lec
now for all thing just go to sweden

This video is very strange in the set up of the armor testing.
None of these side armor packages, mostly D tech add on armor (2A7V) or Swedens (Solution) MEXAS-H D-2/3 side add on armor, is meant for flat side protection aside for mildly the MEXAS armor.
This armor is meant for frontal side arc protection like threats from frontal angles as protection, this is quite literally the case for the 2A7Vs D tech armor.
For full side arc protection you will have future components like APS and full coverage of D tech or MEXAS with slat armor on the rear, rear sides of hull.
2A7V has mountings for additional side armor but this armor hasn’t been implemented yet.

2A7 is overall better cuz of the better thermals and apfsds. B+ does have better protection but that doesn't matter cuz the same spots won't be penetrated even if you're in a 2A7. You'll be shot in the weakspots anyways so that additional armour on the spots no one's gonna shoot at anyways are not that useful. And 2A7 has more smokes

i wish you knew what CE/KE protection and no tandem/tandem warhead means :) then you would know why 400-600mm missile wouldn't pen (other 50% is that it is not working properly)....one of the reason russian tank missiles to the side skirt...
most of the time you are better to look for weakspots for overpressure (commander/gunner optics, top roof panel, neck, drivers hatch)
