Her personality is everything i want mine to be like. She is my inspiration. She is a heroine. She is the perfect example of a modest, down to earth girl, and the funny part, i have too much in common with her. I think Lorde is a contemporary queen of alternative. And her concentration on the fact that too often we forget about the simple things in life and run after the hard. I especially love her satirical lyrics about the glamorous life everyone craves. And how selfish humans actually appear to be.

I like how honest this feels. I just hate when people are so fake about everything to maintain some kind of image (famous people and normal people), and this is just her opinion on a lot of things. I like her better already, especially because some of this reminds me of myself. (Oh, by the way, I love dogs too, and I DO understand. Just ask my dog... or me...)

Context is so important. Anyone who saw this interview and thinks that she actually hates reggae music is a bit out of it. The line about reggae music making her feel like she's late for something is beautiful. I was raised on, performed with and deejayed using reggae music for decades. I get what she's saying and there's nothing bad about it. Word usage is interesting. I have heard some use the word "hate" meaning that they wished it was something that they could do. Like be lazy, slacker, and zone out. There is a lot of reggae music that can, hopefully,make you feel that way.
