God damn I love Glen Hansard. I saw him play a solo gig this past weekend in Brighton. Just incredible. He played this song and he talked about how he wrote it for his mother after his father had passed. The emotion comes through in every performance. Just a true talent and passionate songwriter the world is better place for him ā¤

This is my first time listening to him. It popped up in my feed. Him sitting in front of a piano, so I clicked on it. I'm trying to teach myself piano. I saw a looking my age, same beard. I liked it a lot. The sound from a real piano is so much better than electronic. I have a Legato, Williams, Digital. Has all the keys, that's nice. I enjoy playing it. But a real piano. Nothing like it. Good song š

I have loved him for years. He sang and helped to organize the musicians and song at Shane Mac Gowans funeral 4 months ago,
that funeral itself was an amazing gathering of some of Ireland's best. Johnny Deep was a pallbearer, it is worth the 2 1//2 hr. livestream.

This gutted me and hollowed me out. I was not prepared to cry on this lonely, cold morning. I am a widow of a few years and feeling despair most days. This made me cry - and I never cry any more. I thought I'd used up all of my tears. There hasn't been anything worth crying about that is as bad as everything I have lost. Wow. I literally stumbled across this on my YT feed and I am so very, very grateful. What an amazing piece of art this song is. Thank you and bless....just....BLESS xo
