Still holds up as one of the best movies ever made. EVER. I'm watching it right now on HBO and remembering beautiful times in 2002 and 2003, introducing loved ones to it. I hope they still feel as I do, about the movie, years later (wherever they are).

Wow this movie left me so impressed. I admit i'm the type that get easily bored with chats but watching a whole hour of conversation between two people literally entertained me a lot. I fell in love with the characters and the simplicity of the movie it's just so classic.
I love how I can mostly relate to Celine. I relate on how adventurous, creative, soft-spoken, how genuine and open she is. I can even relate to how her family treats her or how people thought of her to be. Which is why it is very refreshing to see a movie that flows very natural and realistic. I am also in love with Jesse and how he's so insightful and very genuine to himself and to Celine.
This is really 10/10 and this movie will always remain remarkable for me. I rarely state opinions abt smth else but srsly this is smth different. I really hope I can be with someone and visit europe someday. I would really love to π₯Ίπ

This movie couldnβt have worked without the careful guidance of Linklater and the chemistry between Hawke and Delpy. Itβs literally two strangers having random and philosophical conversations but it feels like so much more.

Not a lot of people know that this story was made by the movie director Linklater, based on a love story he went through when the girl was 20 and he was 29. He wanted, after the release of the first movie, to meet again the girl and he was hoping that she could recognize the love story and look for him. He discovered only later on that she died in the 1994, shortly before the movie was released, so she never saw their love story become reality. Yup, it's true. And I'm heartbroken.
