South Korea says its military detected the mines, being place in an unpaved road inside the zone near Arrowhead Hill in Cheorwon.
Officials in Seoul say the action is the latest in a series of moves to shut down roads that cross the border.

If people only knew the meaning behind the road that the North is planting with mines.... But first, imagine all the progress that were made under president Moon-Jae-In and Trump, is now all ruined. Last year we witnessed North Korea demolishing the only building used for peace talks. It was the first time the two sides had ever sat on the same negotiating table. Plus the road that takes South Korean diplomats to that building is cherished by both side. Mainly because both sides recognises that specific road as the most peaceful region between the two sides. In fact the last few re-unifications that took place between the two sides, took place through that same road. But now it seems like North Korea is purposely planting mines on the exact same historic road. Which is their way of saying: "All peace talks are done for good". And this is the meaning behind North Koreas mining of the road.
