Here's the thing about recovery. A part of it is taking responsibility and atone for the things you've done during addiction and learning to accept that, and accepting that some people are going to not forgive and its their right to not to forgive or to forgive. I'm sure her mom is a good person now, but she might not have been in the past and that's a fact.
